Our Story
The Kerbside Café opened its doors in 2021 on Haripada Dutta Lane, tucked away in the peaceful Golf Gardens area of Tollygunge. What started as a passion project for great coffee has become a neighborhood institution — a place where freelancers set up their mobile offices, friends catch up over brunch, and families enjoy lazy weekend meals.
Our name reflects our philosophy: we're the cafe on the kerbside, watching the world go by while serving exceptional coffee and food. We believe the best cafes are those that become part of your daily rhythm — the morning espresso that starts your day right, the lunch that fuels your afternoon, the evening coffee that signals it's time to unwind.
We source our beans from India's finest coffee estates, roast them to perfection, and brew each cup with precision. Our kitchen serves global comfort food with a local twist — think avocado toast with a desi twist, burgers with a kick, pasta that tastes like nonna made it, and desserts that are worth the calories.
